CREATE AN APPLE ID
1. Go to the page : https://appleid.apple.com/account#!&page=create
Fill in all the information requested. Make sure you provide a valid email address and remember the security questions that will be asked later.

3. First of all, you must activate the 2-factor authentication if you have not already done so. To do so, you will need to use a device equipped with iOS (iPhone, iPad, Macbook, Apple TV…) by connecting with your Apple account. To find out how to activate 2-factor authentication, go to this address: https://support.apple.com/fr-fr/HT204915
You will be asked to validate your identity via the security questions you provided when you created your account.
4. To create a developer account Apple will ask you for a D-U-N-S number which you can get for free at : http://fedgov.dnb.com/webform/searchAction.do
Fill in the exact name of your organisation, its address, city, telephone number and click on Submit.
5. In the next window, your structure should appear.
Then click on “Request Your Existing D-U-N-S Number” and fill in the requested information to receive the D-U-N-S number by e-mail. This should take about 1 hour.
6. Go to https://developer.apple.com/account/ and enter your Apple account details.
7. Once logged in, click on Join the Apple Developer Program.
8. Click on Enroll.
9. Click on Start Your Enrollment.
10. In “Entity Type”, choose Company / Organization and then Continue.
11. Fill in all the information requested:
- The name of the structure
- Your previously received D-U-N-S number
- Your website
- A contact telephone number
- Your SIRET number
Then click on Continue.
12. A message will appear telling you that the account is being created. The validation process by Apple may take 1 to 2 weeks, during which time you may be contacted to validate your details.
A confirmation email will be sent to you when the creation is finalised.
13. If a page with the message “An unknown error occurred” appears. Repeat the operation from the navigateur Safari.

And provide your phone number to be contacted by Apple who will ask you to confirm your identity, the address of your organisation, its phone number and its D-U-N-S number.
14. Once your account has been validated, you will need to subscribe to the iOS Developer Program at €99/year which will allow you to publish your application. Let us guide you through the steps to complete the program registration.

15. You may need to add a person to manage the publishing of apps on your account, this is the case for NetAnswer who manages the publishing of its customers’ apps. Log in to https://appstoreconnect.apple.com/ (note that this is not the same URL used to create the developer account) and enter your Apple credentials.
16. Click on Users and Access.
17. Click on the “+” to add a user account.
18. Fill in the details of the person you wish to appoint as manager and select “Administrator” and “Access to certificates, logins and profiles”.
